Hi all, it's hard to find a 'best Togfest of all' but that one was way up there at the top of the tree! Over the years we've got used to the excellent music, organisation, site, food, crew etc but the 'balance' last week felt fantastic. Also, the weather - the one uncontrollable part of the equation - played it's part as well. I'm available for next year but you already knew that anyway, didn't you. Love to all, Pete X

Had a fantastic time at the weekend. Thought there was a lovely atmosphere and each stage had a great but different vibe. Meet & greet team were of course stars and we had a lot of fun as well! An amazing achievement!"

Can I just take this opportunity to say what a horrid time we had playing Togfest 2008. We found the gate crew to be aggressive and obnoxious, the sound engineers were rude and clearly hard of hearing, the stage manageress was belligerent and un-cooperative and tried to usher us into the gents rather than on to the correct stage saying the acoustics would be better, Ian & Linda Rowe aka Mr. & Mrs. Togfest were unfriendly and dismissive, the weather was oppressive, there were far too may people having a so called ‘good time’ whatever that means, my trousers were too tight and yet, strangely, my lunch pack was too small etc. etc. Any chance of coming back next year? Not Pete from Taylor’d Country

Thanks sooooo much for having us and giving us the experience of the summer! We had a great great time, evryone was so great to us, The organisers, The crew, the sound people, just a complete breath of fresh air... Hope you'll have us back!

"Thank you so much for inviting us to play at Togfest, we had an absolute blast and loved every minute of it! And what a well organised event, down to every detail and every person involved in the stewarding, sound, stage management, roadies etc. – Brilliant Without doubt we’d love to be involved next year, hopefully on the Courtyard stage which looked and sounded fantastic. Having said that, the sound in the Marquee was also great and the guys involved did wonderful job of getting our sound right, on stage and out front."

Best Togfest Ever! I'm so glad that you had a Friday fest as well as the normal saturday as I actually got to see some bands, ( was working all day saturday till 9.45 for MKMS @ MK Theatre) I particularly enjoyed Mud II, and have been having a Solstice revival since re-discovering some long lost c***ette recordings and BBC sessions on their CD. Never thought i'd see tiger feet performed live at Togfest! The vibe was great and Very merry when I arrived to play with Togmor, thanks to all the people for lifting the bands spirits and willing us to give a lively performance! Wish i could have been there all day, but made up for it it by Jamming with Aram from titan system and Big G in the camp site ( it's a proper festival now there is camping!) chill out tent, left the site in the early hours very happy to the sound of Sarah M playing Capercaille on the flute and Dan Plews singing his heart out. Thanks to all for a fab fest...

Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed working at Togfest, I would really recommend it, its hard work but you get to meet lots of nice people and everyone helps each other. See you all next year.

This was my first time at the festival, every year I hear it from work across the road and wish I'd remembered it was on. This year me and my mate made it for the Saturday, and we loved it, so did his young son who arrived later in the evening... his first festival! We'll be back next year, for the whole weekend too. Thanks to all the staff and volunteers who were so professional and helpful. And thanks to the gate staff for finding my jacket!

Hi everybody, I thought I’d send you a quick message just to say that this years Togfest was brilliant, they just keep getting better. I’ve been to every one so far, got the T shirts and even the CD (Togfest ’99). The quality and variety of the music is fantastic and all those acts for the price you would normally pay to see just one band -that’s what I call a bargain! The food and drink is always reasonably priced and there’s a real friendly and safe atmosphere to the whole event because it’s all so well organised.

Just wanted to send you a quick thank you for having the band at Togfest, all the guys really enjoyed playing at what we all thought was a really well run and well organised festival. Everyone was really helpfull and friendly from the moment we arrived and the work linda and ian, along with all the volunteers put in was appreciated by all the guys. :) We did really well with the cd's so send a big thank you to the merch girls, and i'll be sure to send you down a copy of the new record when it's released later this year. You know you can always bear us in mind for future Togfests, as we'd all love to come back and play soon. Neil Jones and Stone Foundation

I just wanted to e-mail to say thank you very much for asking us to play Togfest this year. We really enjoyed playing, and enjoyed the whole experience of the festival as well. It's safe to say it was a great success! It was by far the most professional festival we've played and it was great to be treated so nicely! Thanks so much and we'd love to get involved again in the future! Regards, - Andé D'Mello, Firetone

Most of you would recognise us (I'm the Santa lookalike, thinking of charging for photo's next time & giving the proceeds to charity) & wonder why you rarely see us. We live in Rugby & don't really get down to MK much anymore, but at Togfest we feel we belong as much as anywhere we know. Can we start a campaign for Ian & Linda to become Sir & Lady Rowe, and the whole Togfect crew to get OBEs for services to music and the community? Maybe a Damehood for Sue Gray? Love to you all, Rob & Dot

What a fantastic two days, fabulous music, wonderful crew and more importantly fantastic festival goers!! I haven't seen so many smiley faces as I did this weekend and that is thank to all the hard work put in by the management team and of course everyone who helps to make Togfest the success it is and should always be. Hope there wasn't too much mess to clear up xx Sue and the rest of the Gate Crew x

Hello everyone, I just wanted to wish Togfest a very happy '10th Birthday', I only wish I could be their with you to enjoy the event. I know only to well from personal experience, how much hard work the team has put in over the years since 1998 to make it a success, it's a tribute to them and all the volunteer stewards that Togfest has become so popular. I hope one day to join you again for a few tunes but in the meantime I will be thinking of you, may the sun shine on you all (including the Sunday clean-up !) Ha -haaaaaa, Martin Wright, Calgary, Alberta, Canada; ex Drummer- Togmor (and Solstice).

Hi! I heard that SixPointFive were playing and begged my mum to get us tickets. I can't wait to go! And also i just saw that titan symstem are playing to! This will be my first festival sleeping over in a tent, I can't wait! You'll probably see me jumping or moshing or screaming to SixPointFive. They are honestly the best band to get the crowd going.

Hey Guys...can't wait for the weekend, most especially to see Machine who are awesome. One things though, I've heard of bands who applied to play and they received no confirmation that their application was recieved, no formal rejection...that's bad 'cause they think yu're rude and they're not comin' anymore :-(

Reply: Big apologies to any applicants who haven't heard. Tried to acknowledge band submissions when poss, welcomed all status tel/email enquiries. This year running very late.Team have worked practically 24/7 for months. Please dont mistake their best intentions.
